"To Be Or Not To Be….Entertained."
Noblesville's annual trip into the work of William Shakespeare continues
this weekend with a slightly different twist. The Noblesville Cultural Arts
Commission presents Shakespeare in the Park, the annual production at
Seminary Park on the corner of South 10th & Hannibal streets, which has
become a cultural staple of the city in the past 14 years.
"It's the only opportunity that many people have to see Shakespeare around
here," said Jane Campbell, founder of the arts commission. "We look
forward to this year's performance, because it is very entertaining."
This year's production is called "The Complete Works of Shakespeare
(Abridged)" and it poses an interesting dilemma for the performers as they
will run through a portion of every play the esteemed playwright wrote.
"We want to encourage families to come out, " Rowland said.
